The three rules

What your phone needs

eSIM support

An eSIM chip built in — standard on most phones from 2018 onward.

Carrier-unlocked

Not locked to a single network. If a SIM from another carrier works, you're unlocked.

Not jailbroken / rooted

The device runs its original, unmodified operating system.
