How to set your eSIM as the data line

Installing the eSIM is only half the job — you also need to tell your phone to use it for data.

iPhone

• Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data → select your beamSIM line.
• Leave your primary line on for calls/texts so your number still works.

Android

• Settings → Network & internet → SIMs (or SIM manager) → set Mobile data to the beamSIM eSIM.

Don't forget roaming

Turn on Data Roaming for the beamSIM line only. It's a local travel plan, so this does not cost roaming fees — it simply lets the eSIM connect to local networks abroad.
