My eSIM won't connect — what do I do?
Most connection issues come down to a couple of settings. Work through these in order.
Checklist
- Have you arrived? Many plans only start when you reach your destination and connect to a local network.
- Data Roaming on? It must be on for the beamSIM line (it's a local plan, so no roaming charges).
- Right data line? Make sure mobile data is set to the beamSIM eSIM, not your home line. See set your data line.
- Restart your phone. This forces it to search for networks again.
- Toggle Airplane mode on for 10 seconds, then off.
- Select a network manually (Settings → Cellular → Network Selection → off "Automatic", pick a local carrier).
